235 killed in Ecuador earthquake, more than 2500 injured

At least 235 people are dead from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Ecuador's central coast, according to Ecuador's President Rafael Correa. Rescue efforts are underway in Pedernales, a town of 40,000 near the quake's epicenter, following a magnitude-7.8 earthquake that's left more than 200 dead. Around the country, rescuers are struggling to reach survivors trapped in the rubble.
